Hey there, you! Let me tell ya, I heard about this thing, this Lipton Lemon Hard Tea. It comes in cans, you know? Just like them sodas, but with a kick! My neighbor, she brought some over the other day. Said she found ’em at the store. I was like, “Lipton? Ain’t that just for regular tea?”
She said, “Nope, this here’s got alcohol in it!” 5% she told me. Well, I’ll be. I had to try one, you know. Gotta keep up with the times. So, this Lipton Hard Iced Tea, it’s like regular iced tea, but, you know, for grown-ups. And it comes in a can!
I remember the old days, we just had regular Lipton tea. Boil some water, drop a tea bag in. Sometimes we’d put some sugar in, sometimes not. Then came that powdered stuff. You just mix it with water. Easy peasy. But now this! Lipton Hard Tea cans!
They got different flavors, too. Not just lemon. There’s this Lipton Hard Iced Tea Lemon, that’s the one I tried. But they got others. Peach, I think. And strawberry! And somethin’ called “Half & Half”. Imagine that! Probably half regular tea, half that… that alcohol tea.
This Lipton Lemon Hard Tea, it’s sweet, but not too sweet. You can taste the lemon, that’s for sure. It’s kinda like that lemonade, but with a little somethin’ somethin’ extra. That 5% alcohol they put in, I reckon. They call it “triple-filtered malt base”. Sounds fancy, don’t it?
I don’t know about all that fancy stuff, though. All I know is it tasted pretty good. We sat on the porch, sippin’ on these Lipton Hard Tea cans, watchin’ the sun go down. It was a nice change of pace, I gotta say. Better than that old moonshine some folks make ’round here!
So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ new to try, maybe give these Lipton Lemon Hard Tea cans a go. They’re easy to find, my neighbor said. Just look for ’em in the store, where they keep the other… you know… the adult drinks.
You can drink it straight from the can if you want. I did. Cold is best, they say. But you can also pour it into a glass, if you’re feelin’ fancy. Add some ice, maybe. I saw someone put a lemon slice in it. Like they do with the regular Lipton tea. I reckon it is still tea, just with a little extra kick. A hard tea they call it.
I guess you could even use it to make a mixed drink. I don’t know what you’d mix it with, though. Maybe some of that clear liquor. Or maybe you just drink it as is. It’s good like that, too. That Lipton Hard Iced Tea Lemon, it’s a good one to start with.
But back in my day, we just had regular tea. We didn’t have all these Lipton Hard Tea cans. If you wanted tea, you boiled water. Fresh water, that’s the key. Then you put the tea bag in. That was it. That’s how you got your tea. The good stuff, the Lipton tea.
Now, with this new stuff, this Lipton Hard Iced Tea, I don’t know. It’s different. It is easy, though. No boiling water. Just open a can. That’s it. And it’s got that alcohol in it. So, you know, it’s not your grandma’s tea. Unless your grandma likes that sort of thing!
I reckon these Lipton Lemon Hard Tea cans are here to stay. They’re popular, my neighbor says. Everyone’s drinkin’ ’em. So, if you see ’em, give ’em a try. You might like ’em. I sure did. Just remember to drink responsibly. Don’t go drinkin’ too many of those Lipton Hard Tea cans. That alcohol, it can sneak up on ya!
It’s a whole new world out there. Lipton Hard Iced Tea in a can! Who would have thought? These young folks and their newfangled drinks. Back in the day it was just plain Lipton tea, and we were happy with it. But I gotta admit, this Lipton Lemon Hard Tea, it’s a nice little treat every now and then. You should try it. If you’re old enough, of course!
