So, I’ve been getting into this whole tea thing lately, and I stumbled upon something called “CTC black tea.” Sounded kinda fancy, you know? Figured I’d give it a shot.
First, I had to get my hands on some. I just grabbed a box from the local shop. The tea leaves look kinda like little pellets, not like the usual loose-leaf stuff. That’s the “CTC” part, I guess – Crush, Tear, Curl. Sounds rough, but it’s how they process the leaves.

Okay, so this tea is strong. Like, really strong! It’s got this bold, kinda robust flavor. It’s definitely not one of those light, flowery teas. This one’s got some kick to it. I added a little bit of milk and sugar, which made it smoother, in my opinion. But even without it, it’s a pretty solid cup of tea.
This CTC black tea is a good, no-nonsense kind of tea. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done. I probably won’t drink it every day, but it’s definitely something I’ll keep around for when I need a strong cup to wake me up in the morning. It’s a nice change from my usual tea routine, that’s for sure.
