Okay, so the other day I decided to try out that White Raspberry Lipton Tea I saw at the store. I’ve been trying to cut back on sugary drinks, and this seemed like a good, healthy option. Plus, I heard white tea has lots of antioxidants and is good for you. So, I grabbed a bottle and headed home.
When I got home, I popped the bottle in the fridge to chill for a bit. I figured it would taste better cold, especially on a hot day like this one. After about an hour, I took it out and poured myself a glass.
I took a sip, and honestly, it was really refreshing. The raspberry flavor was there, but it wasn’t too overpowering. It had that clean, pure taste that the bottle mentioned, which was nice. It wasn’t overly sweet either, which I appreciated. Just 90 calories and 21 grams of sugar per bottle, not too bad.
I ended up drinking the whole glass pretty quickly. I could see myself drinking this as a healthier alternative to soda or other sugary drinks, especially during meals or as a little pick-me-up during the day, not to mention that it says to have just 29mg of caffeine.
Overall, I’d say trying the White Raspberry Lipton Tea was a success. It tasted good, it was refreshing, and it seemed like a healthier choice. I think I’ll be picking up more of this in the future. Maybe I’ll even try making my own iced tea with some white tea bags and fresh raspberries. We’ll see!
