Hey everyone, so today I tried my hand at making a white tea and sage diffuser. It smelled heavenly, and I figured I’d share my little adventure with you all.
First off, I gathered my supplies. I already had some white tea essential oil at home. I found that white tea is often mixed with things like jasmine, bergamot, and lemon, but I decided to go with sage. I went on a little shopping trip to pick up some sage essential oil. I read online that these two scents blend really well together, and let me tell you, the combination is amazing! It creates this calming and soothing atmosphere that’s just perfect for relaxing after a long day.
I also needed a diffuser bottle, so I grabbed a simple glass one that I had lying around. Then, I got some reed sticks. You can find these pretty much anywhere, even in some local shops, so they’re easy to get.
Now, for the mixing part. I started by pouring the white tea essential oil into the bottle. I didn’t measure it exactly, just eyeballed it to about half full. Then, I added the sage essential oil. I put in a bit less sage oil than white tea, since I wanted the white tea scent to be a bit stronger. It’s all about personal preference, you know? You can adjust the amounts to get the scent just how you like it.
After mixing the oils, I put the reed sticks into the bottle. I used about six sticks, but you can use more or less depending on how strong you want the scent to be. The sticks soak up the oil and diffuse the scent into the room. It’s pretty cool to watch.
I placed the diffuser in my living room, and within an hour, the whole room smelled wonderful. It was this clean, woody, and slightly herbal scent that made the space feel so much more inviting. I also read that white tea and sage can help with things like anxiety and insomnia, so that’s a bonus. It definitely made me feel more relaxed and at ease.
Here’s a quick rundown of what I did:
Honestly, this was such a fun and easy project. It took me maybe 15 minutes to put everything together, and the results were totally worth it. If you’re looking for a way to make your home smell amazing and create a calming atmosphere, I highly recommend giving this a try. Plus, it’s a natural way to freshen up your space without using any harsh chemicals.
This little DIY project turned out to be a real winner. It was super simple, and now my home smells like a spa. I might experiment with other essential oil combinations in the future, but for now, the white tea and sage mix is my go-to. I encourage you all to try making your own diffuser. It’s a fun little project, and you get to enjoy a wonderful scent that you made yourself. Happy diffusing, everyone!
