Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get into aromatherapy for a while, you know, for relaxation and stuff. I decided to start with white tea essential oil because I love the smell of white tea. It’s supposed to be calming, and who doesn’t need a little more calm in their life, right?
First, I ordered a small bottle of white tea essential oil online. I made sure to choose one that said “100% Pure” and “Therapeutic Grade,” but honestly, I’m still not entirely sure what all that means. It just sounded…legit.
At first, I didn’t smell much. I was a little disappointed, thinking maybe I got ripped off. But after a few minutes, my room started to fill with this really subtle, sweet, kind of floral scent. It wasn’t overpowering at all, which I liked.
I sat down with a book and just breathed it in for a while. Honestly, I did feel a little more relaxed. Maybe it was the oil, maybe it was just taking a break, who knows?
But I have to confess,I do like the smell, and it definitely makes the room feel a little more…zen.
I’ve been using it for a few days now, mostly in the evenings before bed. I think it’s helping me chill out before I go to sleep. I’m still a newbie at this whole aromatherapy thing. Next, I might try mixing it with some other oils, like maybe lavender or chamomile, and see what happens. If any of you have suggestions or favorite blends, let me know!
