fruit tea
Okay, so, I wanted to try something new today, and it was about making this drink I saw online called “White Tea Monster.” It sounded kind of fancy, but also pretty simple.
First, I gathered all the stuff I needed. They said it’s a mix of tea and some sort of energy drink. I grabbed a can of that Monster Ultra, the white one with zero sugar. I also got some white tea bags. I read somewhere that it was discovered by a Chinese emperor thousands of years ago, so I felt a bit like I was connecting with history, you know?
I brewed the white tea first. It was pretty straightforward – just boil water and let the tea bag sit there for a few minutes. While that was going on, I did some more reading about the drink. Apparently, this Monster drink has caffeine and taurine. Taurine sounds weird, but it’s supposed to be good for the heart and helps you not get tired so quickly.
Once the tea was ready, I let it cool down a bit. I didn’t want to burn myself. Then came the mixing part. I carefully poured the Monster drink into a glass and slowly added the cooled white tea. It looked kind of cool, all mixed together.
I also found out that some versions of this drink use dragon fruit, and it has dragon fruit in the name too! I didn’t have any dragon fruit on hand, but that sounded interesting. Maybe I’ll try that next time. There is even a version called Monster Dragon Tea White Tea. It sounds more professional and complex!
Finally, it was time to taste it. I took a sip. It was actually pretty good! It was refreshing, and not too sweet, thanks to the zero sugar in the Monster drink. The white tea added a subtle flavor that was nice. It wasn’t too strong, but you could definitely taste it. It had that 170mg of caffeine kick, just like the can said.
I think this “White Tea Monster” is a neat little drink. It’s easy to make, tastes good, and gives you a bit of an energy boost. If you’re looking for something different to try, give it a shot. Just remember to let the tea cool down before you mix it, so you don’t burn yourself. And maybe, like me, you’ll think about that Chinese emperor and his accidental tea discovery while you’re sipping it!
