Okay, so I’ve been messing around with essential oils and diffusers for a while now, and I recently got my hands on some white tea oil. I was super curious about how it would work in a diffuser, so I decided to give it a shot and document the whole process.

Getting Started

First things first, I gathered my supplies. Obviously, I needed my diffuser, the white tea essential oil, and some water. I use a pretty basic ultrasonic diffuser, nothing fancy.

The Experiment

• Filling up: I started by filling the diffuser’s reservoir with water. Usually to line on the diffuser that shows to not over fill.
• Adding the oil: This is where the magic happens! I carefully added about 5-7 drops of the white tea oil into the water. I didn’t want to overdo it, especially since I wasn’t sure how strong the scent would be.
• Powering on: I plugged in the diffuser and turned it on. Most diffusers have different settings, so I just chose a continuous mist mode to start.
• Waiting and observing: Then came the waiting game. It took a few minutes, but slowly, I started to notice the subtle, clean scent of white tea filling the room. It wasn’t overpowering at all, which I appreciated.

My Thoughts

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how well the white tea oil worked in the diffuser.

It created a really calm and relaxing atmosphere. Kind of like being in a spa, but without the hefty price tag! I let it run for a couple of hours, and the scent lingered even after I turned it off.
