yamamotoyama oolong tea

tea set | December 31st, 2024

Today I’m gonna talk about that Yamamotoyama Oolong Tea. So the other day, I was in the mood for some tea, but I wanted to try something different. I’ve heard people talking about oolong tea, and how it’s got a nice flavor.

So I started looking around and stumbled upon this Yamamotoyama brand. The packaging said “Yamamotoyama Green Tea” and mentioned something about aluminum-sealed teabags, which I guess keeps it fresh. Anyway, I grabbed a box, thinking it was a 3-pack, but I realized later that I didn’t pay attention to the details.

Brewing the Tea

I got home and boiled some water. The box said oolong tea is a traditional Chinese tea, so I was expecting something special. I ripped open one of those sealed teabags, and popped it into my mug. Poured the hot water over it, and let it steep for a few minutes.

The Taste Test

I took a sip, and honestly, it was pretty good. It had a refreshing flavor, just like it said on the box. A bit fragrant, and definitely a rich taste. I drank it after dinner, and it was actually quite enjoyable. It wasn’t too strong, but it had a distinct taste that I liked.

Would I Recommend It?

Yeah, I think I would. It’s a decent oolong tea. Nothing mind-blowing, but it’s a good option if you’re looking to try something different. Plus, it’s from 1690! They used lightly fermented tea leaves. I drank it everyday to see if that would help me feel better. I do feel pretty good now. This might be a good alternative to coffee. I found out that oolong tea is made from the same plant as green teas and black teas, so I guess it’s gotta be good for you in some way, right? I read somewhere that the less processed the tea leaves, the more health benefits they have. And they use carbon dioxide to decaffeinate their green tea, which is cool, I guess.

Final Thoughts

  • It’s a solid choice for an oolong tea.
  • The aluminum-sealed teabags are a nice touch.
  • The flavor is refreshing and enjoyable, especially after meals.

So, that’s my experience with Yamamotoyama Oolong Tea. It’s a simple, straightforward tea that delivers on its promise of a refreshing flavor. I might buy it again sometime, maybe when they have it in stock.
